Our story

Homegrown in Buffalo.
Grown for local kitchens.

Viridian Farms was started in Buffalo by Max Carey to bring restaurant-quality microgreens to local kitchens, from restaurants to home cooks, without the long-haul shipping most suppliers depend on.

Every stage happens in-house: seeding, growing, cutting, packing and delivery. That keeps quality in one set of hands and keeps you in direct contact with the person growing your order.

Local production
Fresh harvesting

Supporting the local food community
Consistent quality, week to week

From our farm to your kitchen

Fewer days between
the cut and the plate.

Most greens travel for days before they reach a kitchen. Ours are grown a short drive away, so what you serve is days fresher.
